Calculating the Initiation Time of the Explosive with Complex Structure Using the Advancing Front Technique

摘要: 在各种工程定向爆破技术和爆轰数值模拟中,有时需要预先知道从起爆位置到装药内部某位置的起爆时间。为此,基于惠更斯原理,将网格生成前沿推进法的思想引入炸药爆轰计算中,给出了一种从炸药起爆位置到装药内部任意位置起爆时间的计算方法,通过几个数值算例验证了其有效性。该计算方法的特点是对于任何复杂装药结构均可给出从起爆位置到装药内部任意位置的起爆时间。Abstract: In the directional blasting in various engineering area and the numerical simulation of detonation, it is sometimes necessary to estimate the initiation time from the initiation position to a specific point of the explosive.Based on the Huygens' principle, the advancing front technique is introduced in the numerical mesh generation in order to calculate the detonation in the explosive.Furthermore, a computational method is proposed to evaluate the initiation time of the explosive from the initiation position to an arbitrary position of the explosive.Compared with traditional algorithms, this method is suitable for the explosive with complex geometric domain when coping with the initiation time.Several numerical examples are given to verify the effectiveness of this method.
